In the Xingu region (PA), the ADAI team has held several meetings with the families that will take part in the project “Use of social technologies to reduce deforestation”, an achievement of the Movement of People Affected by Dams (Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens – MAB) that will be implemented by the Interstate Agricultural Development Association (Associação de Desenvolvimento Agrícola Interestadual – ADAI), with resources from the Amazon Fund. The aim is to explain how the project will work and answer any questions about the necessary documentation. 

The communities are in the municipalities of Altamira, Brasil Novo and Vitória do Xingu. A total of 60 families in this region will benefit from the PAIS (circular agro-ecological vegetable garden with a chicken coop in the middle) and an irrigation system with solar panels.
