New calls for proposals from the Ministry of Culture. Affected people have an identification field to register for the Culture Points Award” public notice.
Minc resumes Culture Points Award and presents new possibility for dam-affected communities
This year, the Ministry of Culture (Minc) has resumed the Living Culture Program, which includes the Promotion of Culture Points and the Living Culture Award Notice – Sérgio Mamberti Award Notice, in honor of this great Brazilian actor. This call for proposals includes five calls for prizes totaling more than R$61 million in investments.
The Living Culture Program is a cultural policy aimed at recognizing and supporting activities and processes already developed in the locality. The Culture Points is a local reference that aims to stimulate social participation and the shared management of public culture policies. The points selected in the call receive certification for a minimum period of two years.
What’s new this year is the possibility of informing that the activity will be carried out in “Dam-Affected Areas”, already in the collective’s registration, in field 03, so that the project will be analyzed based on the activity and the relationship with the communities that suffered as a result of the dam collapse.
This is an initiative of the ADAI’s Technical Advisory Office for Affected People to facilitate access to public policies in this area for those affected by culture.
Applications for the Sergio Mamberti – Culture Points Award are open until October 2, 2023.
Don’t miss this opportunity to keep the culture of our communities alive!
